Gasp! Not Porn!

The other day my husband asked me what I wanted for my birthday. I told him I wanted to get the new KY his and hers and I wanted to have sex with him in every position we could manage. His eyes bulged a bit and his mouth flopped open, but then his smiled a great big smile and said, "OK!" So on my Birthday, after working all day, I stopped at Walgreen's before I came home and bought the KY. That was the only item I bought. The lady standing in line in front of me glanced in my direction and saw my item. She then proceeded to frown at me. FROWN. What? Haven't you ever wanted to have fun sex before? The cashier kind of smiled and told me to have a good evening. I informed her that I planned to. And yes we did have a good evening, but I must say that I was a bit disappointed with the KY. I don't think we experienced the great whistle blowing sex advertised in the commercials when we used it. But perhaps we didn't have enough foreplay, so maybe we will try it again. But this brings me to my point. Why are adult people so embarrassed to talk about sex. Why does the word SEX have to be so taboo? I just don't get it. Porn is a multimillion dollar business, yet nobody I know admits to watching it. I love porn. I watch it on a weekly basis, and sometimes it really makes me hot. Sometimes it makes me laugh my ass off. Some of the faces they make are hilarious. And the noises, well you just have to chuckle. When I watch porn, weather it is with my hubby or by myself, I find myself criticizing the women. Mainly their breasts. For some reason, it is more enjoyable to watch women with big breasts than it is to watch women with little breasts. I find myself feeling a bit envious, because they look like they are having so much fun. Some of the porn shows on Cinemax have great story lines. I like Co-Ed Confidential and others. The only kind of porn that turns me off is same sex porn. I really don't get off watching girl on girl action, and I refuse to watch guy on guy action.

So for the discussion part of this post..... What kind of porn turns you on? Or are you too embarrassed to tell?

i have only watched porn about twice and i didnt particularly like it. maybe i watched the wrong thing?
having said that i am a great fan of movies with sex in them and sometimes they turn me on, too.
i quite like to read erotica but i'm fussy about it and i dont really go looking for it so i read the one book over and over.

i also tend to talk about sex a fair bit, it depends who i'm with and it's usually trying to be funny but it's still sex and i can talk it all day. it's fun

what is his & hers KY?

Well, it's actually KY Your's and Mine. It's a lubricant for him and a lubricant for her that when used together is suppose to cause more arousal and stimulation. Not so sure it worked that well. It sort of felt like putting Icy Hot on your private parts.

Thanks for the review--was a little curious about that stuff!

Porn. Not a fan at all of movies, I think the characters usually aren't weird enough for me and I end up spacing out and thinking about other things, like the laundry, LOL. But love love love naughty drawings (like Tijuana Bibles) and as you know love the naughty slash fan fic!

I have totally never watched any porn. Oh excuse me while I get this video out of my thong! Both can't fit comfortably in these jeans.

Have I watched it? Yes. Do I enjoy it? That's a tough question. Some is better than others. I like the good stuff, but not too much of it. Just once a year or so when I'm feelin' a bit low...you know, enough to make me cum!!! But in a respectable way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like Kylie I like to read about it. You know how it comes upon you in a really great novel and you gasp and think..."HOLY SHIT." Next thing you know you're saying ..."Okay, I'm out!!!" And then you read it 10 more times just to make sure you came hard enough in the event there's anything left! That I like.

Calling me out. Suze blinks. I though you were my friend? And Leah, you enjoyed that abuse. You're such a sadist. Hey, both of you. Knock it off. I will not tolerate this! *Suze's stomps foot like a baby.* "Ouch...my broken ankle."

What's porn?

KY that's for hemorrhoids right?
I can see why she would frown she may have had hemorrhoids to but couldn't afford that KY stuff.
Maybe you could have asked her to open her hand and squirted some on it for her to take home with her.

Jeez. I am almost at a loss of words here. Not quite sure what to say. I guess I can just be honest instead of trying to come up with some smart ass comment. I have watched a few adult films in my lifetime but they just are not a staple of sexual diet. I just never have been a big fan of the porno. I think they are great for people who enjoy them but I have made it this for without them and I am doing OK. Good topic Cece. Take care.

Hi Cece!

Good to see you back blogging again- glad you had a good evening!!!

I like sex, but not porn. I think it demeans women. It worries me that my teenage boys can turn on the TV at 11pm and it is all there on mainstream channels. I know they have to learn about sex somewhere, (and they are not exactly going to ask me about it!)but I would not want them to go into a relationship expecting to get or give what they see on the TV. I think the wide availability of it has caused the oversexualisation of pre-teen girls. And teenage girls as young as 13 and 14 are starting sexual relationships and doing the whole Brazilian thing because they have seen it in porn and think it is expected. We're handing out chlamydia swabs like lollipops over here.

Sex is great, nothing wrong with experimentation and fantasies, and the porn I have seen has turned me on- but I supposed it is designed to do that! And it does have a more sinister side, is all I'm saying.

Hey, I watch Skinemax--not really liking that new Lingerie or Life on Top, but Co-Ed was kinda fun.

Yeah people are embarrassed to talk about watching porn. I think it's fun.

Ok so blog hopping this morning and totaly fell inlove with this topic. So REAL So bold and out there. I totaly get your point.

I will tell you Yep I do watch porn I am female and probably watch more then my husband does. Some of it makes me laugh some makes me gag and some well it just leaving me feeling like thats 10 minutes I wont ever get back.

Living with a porn star for a while (yes true story) not romanticly I realized just how they are all just human. And hey the guys always get there rocks off....So hell at 18 looking to make quick money and get paid for having sex why not...females in the business more power to them for getting it more then most married couples I know.

And I am not asshamed of telling you I told my daughter that when she turned 18 she should think about striping for a living either in a joint or online. She had the body and the attatude down so why not pay for college and a house and car that way before she settled down into married and mommy life.

Remember though that we are as a society ashamed of sex becasue typically it was the "brainwashing" our parents did as children we were told it was BAD. Then when we become adults and either married with no kids or Single with no kids our parents start telling us when are you going to get pregnant and give us grandkids. But remember not so many years ago sex was bad....food for thought with our childrens up bringing.

I know that sex was never a bad thing in my house. It was something my parents did and ok for adults to do together. But also was ok for kids to masturbate now there goes another taboo word but how many times were kids told that was bad. could go blind loose hair or better yet grow hair on the palms of your hands. You think if masturbation was ok there would be less teen pregnancies out there. Think about it.
