Full On Annoying

OK. I'm researching interest rates and kicking around the idea of refinancing my house. I thought why the hell not. The interest rates are at an all time low. I'm trying for a little extra cash to help pay off the loan I had to take out when we bought our land so that I have everything rolled into one nice large payment. Yeah, I'm talking a half of my monthly salary. So, I've been talking with several different lenders, and there's one that I like. But there's this other guy that is just absolutely FULL ON ANNOYING. "Oh you won't find a better more reputable company than ours. Why would you want to shop around, why let them dangle nickle and dimes in front of you? What's keeping you from making our deal tonight? I just don't want you to get down the road and when it comes time to close with those other guys and you are thinking Gosh, I wish I had gone with Joe Jackoff." Can we say HIGH PRESSURE SALESMAN? I may not have made my decision on who to go with, but I'm pretty sure I've made my decision on who NOT to go with. This guy turned me off before I even got started. I swear, if I could have, I would have reached through the phone and choked him.

Reach through the phone and grab him and say, "howdya like me to dangle THESE?"

No need to thank me. My first round of advice is always free.

G'day,
Jo and I were were looking at selling our house a couple of years ago. First we contacted our bank, Australia's leading bank for home mortgages. The loans officer said, "Sure how much would you like?" and would have handed us a blank cheque. Jo and I thought to ourselves, "this deal smells off; like a raw prawn in the sun."
So we then went to a community bank and the manager sympathetically and politely told us that we didn't have enough collateral to finance a loan. Even though we left dissapointed we appreciated the manager's honesty.

Whoops. What I meant to say was "Jo and I were looking at selling up and BUYING another house". Also, trust your gut instinct when making important decisions.

Yeah, well, the annoying guy called today, and Harvey answered the phone and told him we decided to go with someone else. The guy then asked Harvey what kind of deal did they give him. He told the guy he didn't want to discuss the specifics. The guy then asked my husband, "What you don't appreciate me trying to save you a little money?" Harvey then told him he didn't like his pushy attitude and not to call this phone again and hung up. Ah, I love my man!..

Perhaps you need a lawyer! "Rob, honey, have a little time to spare?" "Nope." Can you help Cece and Harvey!? "Yes, of course." There you have it.

MJ ~ dangle what?

Mark ~ good advice.

Cece ~ Never accept annoying phone calls. Simply hang up. Harvey, you did a good thing.

Love ya,
Suze XO

Your instincts are right on. After all the paperwork is signed and he got paid, he will be the guy who won't return your calls or emails for days if you have questions about something.

I'm with ya. Don't give that jerk your money. And follow MJ's advice.

Yeah, what is it with the hard sell? That is one of my most hated, absolutely hated, things in this world. Good on Harvey.

Hi honey,

Just a quick "Hello!" before feeding the birds and squirrels. Hope you're okay. You promised a new post back in May. It's June 5th. You alive girl? I'd call, but I don't have the energy to talk. So this is the best I can do. Have a great day. I'm thinking about you, so that should make all the difference! Well, of course I'm laughing.

XO Suze

Okay...drinks for everyone at the Wild Onion. Kylie's buying. Oh, that's right, they're free. Okay, Kylie's busing. Is that spelled correctly? Is that a word? Oh, and yes, she'll be wearing that pretty little number Gig left on the hook! Tips are obviously appreciated. Be generous.
