It is a pink and purple glass angle holding a gold plated star. When I opened it he told me that it was me. Remember, he thinks that I am The Angle of Life. He informs me that it is The Angle of Life holding the Star of hope. It is a very beautiful, fragile, and sentimental gift. You can tell that he put a lot of thought into picking this gift out. It truly fits to his personality. He is a worrier. He worries about everything. If he wants a toy and I tell him we don't have enough money to get toys right now, he becomes afraid and worries about us having enough money to pay our bills. HB and I have told him that he should worry about things like that. We told him that those were Mommy and Daddy problems and that he should just worry about being a kid and having fun. We also had to explain to him that we made enough money to pay bills, we just don't always have a lot left over for extra stuff, so sometimes we have to go without. He is a very thoughtful and quite sensitive child, and he was and still is the smallest of the two, which in my mind makes him more fragile.
Nathan's gift on the other hand screams practicality.
So, it just goes to prove that no matter how similar they may appear, their differences shine through in every thing they do.

I could use a pen like that!
Just stopping in to wish you and the family a Happy New Year!!
I love those boys. And love you. Thanks for the call this afternoon and guiding me through my cupcake disaster (oh trust me, it got worse after you hung up!!!). Anyone who doesn't know would think I'm a horrible cook. I'M NOT!!! YOU KNOW THAT!!!
Beautiful post, beautiful kids. You're a good mom. Speaking of which, I thought of Bindi a lot today. She must have her new wee one. I hope she's okay. It's amazing what happens in in year. Look, we met Bob and CSI is still here!!! What?!
HAPPY NEW YEAR my darling, darling friend. I love you very much.
XO Me
P.S. Good luck to you and hubby with your New Year's resolution. It's a very worthy goal. I want you to live a long, happy life together.
Hey Cece,
Happy New Year to you and your family.
Isn't that funny? How two boys who would seem alike (especially since they are twins) are very different. Loved this post!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! This year is gonna ROCK...or else! (what, I'm not sure).
XOXOXO
RC
EXCELLENT GIFTS!!!
so glad to see you on this side of the holidayz...
That's really interesting and rather profound, Cece. That they could be so much the same, even down to their little chromosomes, and yet be completely different.
Humans are amazing creatures.
Happy New Year and enjoy your gifts, you angel you!
Happy New Year Cece!!
Been thinking about you and the "boys", all 3 of them!! I really love their gifts to you.
Sorry that I have not been able to talk, especially since my cell will only work on speaker.
I am hoping for a great 2009 for all of us!
Gig, xoxo
HEY YOU! Happy New Year! I have missed you dear one! Love the presents and love that each is so different! Come by and say hi soon!
Sounds like a great Christmas and you have two thoughtful and caring boys. Hope you are having a wonderful new year.
Too cute! Sorry i missed you the other night on the IM. BY the time i got back to the computer you had signed off. Hope you guys had a good Christmas.
My two are as different as your two. Isn't it funny how God sees fit to give us the best of both worlds?
Happy New Year!!!!
I agree with sexy QG. My 15 are as different as your two!!!
I love you baby. Thank you for your beautiful, thoughtful comment. If you were a guy I'd marry you!!! Of course I'd want children! You're the best Cece. Don't ever worry about calling as Newman was being euthanized. You were supposed to be there too. Thank you for taking time out of your busy life to come to the vet's with us! Rob didn't mean to hang up on you...twice, but Newman had to die without the damn cell phone ringing! ;)
Talked to Gig. I think our Blogger Reunion should be held in Michigan on her property. They have the travel trailer (that sleeps 4...perfect for me!) and an area for tents. I'd do it in an instant. We can call it the National Park Blogger Reunion Down By The Water!!! It's a national park. Right? With laundry and bathroom facilities? *Gig stands at front entrance with yellow buckets and scrub boards.* Hey, not funny.
XO my dear, dear friend
I read you had an evening off with no one but the dogs to bug you.....aren't times like that the best?
We're looking at adopting another dog (pitbull mix - again) will keep you posted.
And where was Apollo when Javie was under the covers?
