Well, I may just get it after all!

Yeah some more eye candy.
Well, we counter offered, and they countered back. And what they countered back with was on $500 more, so we decided to give. You see, we have been looking for a long time. Every weekend we drive around looking at stuff I've found on line and when we saw this piece we both fell in love with it. It is perfect. We don't agree on something very often. So we were both thrilled when the agent called us back this evening. Now the hard part comes, deciding exactly what house to build. I'm so excited. I have always wanted a log cabin in the woods, now maybe I can have it.
I will try to go out next weekend and take some pictures of the land so that you all can see just why I fell in love.

HOLY CRAPPER!!!! Okay, I say log cabin in the woods. We are sympatico! Huge exhale. I finally have a vacation home in Arkansas (and you have one in CA!). Honey, congratulation. I'm so, so happy for you and your family. It's funny, when we talked on the phone, I knew this was your property, but when you lost it, I thought "Well, maybe not!!!" But I was right. I knew it. I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. Why? Because of the pond and the trees. You have no idea how happy I am for you. And you know what else? You didn't exhaust your savings to get it. That's a good deal!

Designing a new home from the ground up is a challenge, as you know from watching HGTV! But you're up to it. Have a blast.

Stop on by the Cafe. We'll celebrate with the girls.

XO and lots of love!

Cece,
Congrats!!!! A Big Celebration is in order!! I am thrilled for you and hubby and the boys. I vote for the log cabin in the woods. Have a great time planning and building your dream home.

We will all be here to watch thru the process.

Suze is out doing a "Round-up", (I was catching up on my blog and she jumped in and I had to come over and read your post), so now let's go have a butterscotch shot! Yee Haw!!
